If you need help taking your photography to the next level, this class is for you. Photographer Trevor Blackman will work with you and a friend over a 4 week period, giving you the tools you need to improve your skill sets in the area you would like to pursue.

- Lessons I have learned from shooting in South Sudan, early morning shoots in large cities, living in Italy, and traversing the wilderness while keeping myself and my gear safe.
Portfolio Building
- Help in creating a photography portfolio.
Down Town
- Discovering light, shadows, and lines in downtown SB or Ventura.
Simplified Photo editing
- How I edit 400 wedding photos in 2 hours.
Printing 101
- A Two hour session covering paper types, ink types, printers and an 8x10 of your your favorite image.
Building a Shot list
- Walking through a wedding shot list and how to become a second photographer at weddings.

This is completely up to you. Once you purchase the class you will be emailed a questionnaire so we can focus on what matters the most to you.

This class is only for photography.

This is a 4 week class. If you must cancel for one of the sessions we can extend the course an extra week but you only get 1 reschedule and you must give a 1 day advanced notice.

I can teach you some really basic things and answer some questions but this class is not set up for film.

You must have a DSLR and a current copy of Adobe Lightroom. See my free PDF on 5 Steps to buying camera gear if you currently don’t have a camera.

This class is held once a week and can be on Monday-Friday Evenings or Anytime on Saturdays or Late Sundays. I will work with your schedule for the best times for you.

About the Instructor
Trevor Blackman was a destination wedding photographer for over ten years and during that time was featured in multiple weddings publications. You can see some of his wedding photography work here. During his years as a wedding photographer he also ran a boutique film lab. He now focuses mainly on landscapes and sells his work at mneian.com. He is passionate about producing quality large format prints and creates the prints and frames that he sells.
Beyond photography, Trevor is married with 5 kids under 20. Trevor has a Master’s in Theology, taught at the College level and has taken doctoral seminars in education and leadership. He has worked with teens for over 20 years and was POST certified as a police officer in Colorado and was nationally registered as an EMT.
